Well when the White House agrees to do this 100percent (both GOP and DEM) then there is something going on that we don’t know about. As for him being a deserter.. we need more facts before we lable him. Could of been shell shock or something else going on. He could of just mentally lost it.. need more facts before start throwing on labels.
For what it is worth, it is my understanding that the Taliban is not, technically, designated as a terrorist group; we are at war with them, so that they were holding what’s his name as a prisoner of war. And there are often exchanges of prisoners of war. Just sayin’.
The prison has brought so much international shame to the US that the government has made several attempts to repatriate those men to their original countries, none of which will have them. The prison can’t be shut down until it’s empty, so this got rid of several. After all, the alternative would be to keep them imprisoned for the rest of their natural lives at taxpayer expense.
Dale: wait till the right catches up with the fact Qatar funds and runs Al jazeera America. You know, that network that actually broadcasts real news, with real journalists, who can pronounce words and names, as well as get their facts straighht.

You mean like when Dubya swapped prisoners for POWs? Or when Ronnie Raygun swapped weapons with Iran to try to destabilize Iraq?
Besides, it wasn’t long ago the GOP was demanding the White House bring Bergdahl back. But whatever the President does, they’ll just whine.

What if some say he deserted and some say he didn’t? Then did he both desert and not desert?
