Do you really think we would make a diff? The whole part of the world there will be in turmoil until they settle the religious and tribal wars. It should have happened after WW ! and would have except for the British and French land grabs. The only person/government to rule there was Alexander the Great, who married the head chieftains daughter!
1. It gives the Afghan government that WE put in place this time, time to get on the ball. and 2. Interesting that this was the deadline the Bushies set, so now that it’s only the longest war in U.S. history (actually that’s still Iraq since we invaded in ‘91 and even Clinton didn’t stop the bombing).
