The “Monster-Under-The-Bed” has just begun, I see. This is the beginning of a long and SCARY relationship. Hope Sophie can reach an ’accomodation; with it like she has with the other “Oogies” in the neighborhood. (The Lake Monster, the Wolves, etc.)
I’d say less terrifying, because that means it’ll probably be leaving Sophie alone, and be keeping its distance from her. So with Soph being safe, all Doug would need to do is keep close to her (which he already does most of the time anyway).
