Monty and Moondog not being across the hall only proves they have pretty good taste.

Its too bad theaters don’t have a “phone check” option such as a coat check before permitting these morons into the auditorium. I am a firm believer in maintaing individual rights and freedoms; but, the annoying abuse of these POS iPhones and their siblings is a true PITA for those who really want to watch the show.Unfortunately, too many people think they are the only person in the place, and have zero consideration for anyone else!

Going out on a limb here, but I suspect that this is taking place during the previews. Otherwise the kid would know what movie was playing, Moondog and the lady behind the kid would have their phones off, Monty would be whispering, and the lights would be off.
