Cut the cable. I did. Don’t miss “stupid people TV” at all.

The only solution here is to separate the last mile and make it a regulated utility as are the phone lines. Right now we are allowing Comcast to create a monopoly based on their access to our homes. If we had done this we would not be talking about net neutrality and the media providers would be fighting it out with each other to produce content people actually want to watch. I really hate Comcast. I am paying rent for a 15 year old Motorola box and digital converters that used to be free. They will probably raise the rates in January as usual and fire a few more customer service reps. In my area, over the air is not a real option.

Sigh. My bundled cable bill now costs more than my mortgage. I’d give it up, except I’m hooked on Bill Maher and John Oliver….

I made my own cable out of sea shells and grass clippings, and now I contentedly watch the stain on the wall as it gradually changes shape. Everybody else should do exactly what I do!

Another example of corporate “personhood” robbing humans of their rights. Impeach five from the SCOTUS.

“Aren’t the big cable companies run by big democrat political contributors?”Cheap partisan slam with zero data to back it up. Hey, aren’t all puppy kicker’s Republican?

If cable & internet costs really rise, then I will cancel them. I can live without TV, and can use the computer, if necessary, at the library. I used to own a hobby shop, and I have plenty of alternatives to couch-potatoing.
