That was like the joke I heard during the 6 day war. The Israeli soldiers would call out the name of an Egyptian soldier, such as Abdul and then shoot him when he stood up and answered. Eventually the Egyptians got wise and decided to call out a name like Moishe. When they did, the Israeli would answer, is that you Abdul, and than again shoot the respondent.
