Clip Clop is what a horse does, Orns are much more delicate. Aren’t all orns unique?

Oh Lord no, please don’t either of you use that phrase in CC’s presence…funny as it is.

If Clippy shows up and is a horse with a bike horn or oboe or something, I’m going to be very…well, I’m not sure, but it’ll be very.

Actually, there is an old verb, “to orn”, related to “adorn” and “ornament”. “The church hath been orned for the feast.”

But there doesn’t seem to be such a /thing/ as an orn. Not, at least, until today.

Alley corn?Alicorn?Allicorn? I’d think the last of these is correct. But it probably won’t stand.

“Alicorn” (correct spelling) is an old word meaning “unicorn”, “unicorn horn”, and several other assorted things having to do with unicorns, which modern fantasy fans, especially “My Little Pony” fans, have incorrectly connected with the Latin word “ala”—“wing” and consequently understood as referring to winged unicorns.

Huh, none of the orns we’ve seen so far seem ornery, so it must be a false cognate. If there are common and unique orns, are there also uncommon, very rare, and/or epic orns? Hm, “Epicorn” sounds like another name for cuitlacoche.
