A good politician is one who stays bought… Who said it?

Any politician who serves more than one term in office is either nuts or crooked. That goes a long way to explain the “why” of American politics.

FishStix is on the right track but the politicians should be the first to go then the lawyers then realtors. Lawyers because first they think they can interept the law. When they find out they can’t the decide to try to write the law.

I’m not sure who was first to say that an honest politician stays bought, but Lyndon Johnson said “If you can’t eat their food, drink their liquor, screw their women, and then vote against ‘em anyway, you’ve got no business being in politics.”

The biggest problem with political jokes is that once elected they are almost impossible to be rid of.
