    With loss of life we now have a very serious subject. In the long run me thinks no good will come of it. Perhaps Verne should try the Tree that knows stuff .

    Wonder how many/few of the rioting “Ukrainian” Russians were actually born in Ukraine? Classic fifth column strategy by Putin.

    There is no reason one need refer to the country name “Niger” euphemistically. The mere fact that it probably has it’s root from the Latin for “black” (the Niger River) and that the despicable name which was applied to black American slaves of times past meant “black” as well (Latin, via French & Portuguese) is insufficient to make it insulting. What is insulting is the attitude and cultural identity of the person using the word – and I don’t mean “Niger”.
