I have dieted and exercised for about 50 years. I know how many calories are in everything I’m likely to eat, how many calories are supposed to be used up in every form of exercise, my BMR and that there are 3500 calories in a pound. And, if all that calculating actually worked, I would have totally disappeared sometime in late fall of 1988.
