Poncho, you stupid dog, you forgot to delete your browse history! (He should’ve searched for hairless cat breeds like Sphinx, Bambino, Peterbald, Donskoy, Lykoi and Ukrainian Levkoy like I did on Wikipedia.)

Er, Poncho….. it’s not the hair of the cat that makes you smell like one of them; it’s the pheremones etc.

    LOL @ RWJAMES!!

Nice pic, 2old. Unfortunately, that IS the way a shaved pussy looks. And shaving a pussy is never easy. Believe you me, I KNOW.

I really do. I used to groom them and they’re MUCH harder to deal with than dogs. You see that look on the cat’s face? You know what it’s SAYING? It’s saying, “Yeah, I know how stupid I look, but I got my revenge. I bit the living @#$% out of the stupid human who shaved me.”

If Poncho shaves any of the cats I’d like to see Carmen take her revenge and shave him.

@StelBel: Hadn’t seen your posts Tuesday.Sorry to read about your fall. If you’re too young for Medicare, I hope you have insurance, and feel better today than yesterday, but worse than tomorrow.Regarding the hairless picture I posted yesterday: Cats are by nature nocturnal predators (very good night vision, like to sleep during the day); that’s how they survived long before being domesticated. They use their muzzle whiskers (still on the shaved cat image posted by @2old, … above) to feel if the opening they’re about to go through is wide enough. If your cat’s un-trimmed (if you trim them, you’re not doing it any favors) whiskers aren’t at least the width of its body head-on, it’s too fat; maybe is, even if they are (maybe can adjust their length for that).MN is a cold climate, still at least a few months during the year; so, I have never actually seen a hairless, just pictures of them. The ones I’ve seen always show a cat with no whiskers, or just a little stubble. For that reason, to me they’re a breeding experiment gone awry — would have great difficulty surviving in the wild; it’s an act of cruelty to continue the breeds. But as I said above, I hope you’re feeling better.

My two boys are indoor, outdoor, but they definitely sleep in the house, usually with me, at night. Too many coyotes out at night.
