The sisters are exempt, as are all religious groups; this whole fuss is because they refuse to fill out a 2 page form asking for an exemption:

I subscribe to Chip Bok’s opinion because he’s a talented cartoonist. The fact that he is wrong about everything all the time is simply amusing.
