The little corps of conservative dribblers seem to be active in every single political cartoon, and dropping irrelevant comments on half the rest. This seems to be their job.

So your saying that no one who wanted to keep their health insurance and lost it shouldn’t be upset? I lost my insurance and my wife will lose hers; should I be happy about this? My premium will go up and my deductible will smash through the atmosphere. Should I be grateful? .@libsmasher: “in trouble if we don’t pay the extortion money for 0Care by a certain date.”.Really? On one hand I can see it as an incentive for people to sign up, but on the other, it would highlight another negative aspect of the ACA. My wife hasn’t mentioned seeing any of those commercials (since I don’t watch TV).

" Finding someone who will take it? well that is your problem!"How is that different than before the ACA? It’s always been an issue with health care providers not being in an insurance company’s “provider network.” My local clinic accepts my employer provided health insurance, but not my vision coverage. It was that way before the ACA, and it’s still that way now.

“Let us try something simple, not Obamacare”Write out what that “something simple” is. Once your done, go back, reread it, and add language to clarify, define concepts, add any exceptions or exemptions, prevent misuse, et cetera. You’ll find that while your concept may be simple, your proposed law will become complex.I recall many years back when a Florida city (I don’t recall which) passed a ban on thong bikinis. (I say thong, but the actual term used by the news reports was “butt floss”) It received national news because of the length of the ordinance required to even describe the deceptively simple concept of a thong bikini. When you live in a time when hordes of lawyers get paid big money to subvert laws, the language of the laws tends to get massive.

“But they wanted to raise premiums or cut services so they changed the policy. Now they blame ACA.”.My wife’s boss told them their cost per employee would go up dramatically after the ACA was implemented, could be the insurance company or not. The bottom line (pun intended) is if it weren’t for the ACA myself and my wife would have insurance.
