    what is with packet work in school? do teachers actually teach, or is that packet work is the easy way?

    The next day, Olson hands out the assignments, and Caufield’s answers with an F and a “I’m not sure why you handed in math work for a creative writing assignment.”

    Actually, I have used that idea as a teaching tool and a way evaluate the students’ understanding of the concepts presented in the instruction…Give students a bunch of possible answers to questions about the subject matter…Then have the students make up their own questions for each of those words…….If you understand the subject fairly well, it’s easy. If you don’t it’s not…..Also the questions of some students can be pretty entertaining……

    Well said, Sharuniboy. The way I look at it, it depends on your point of view. Some focus on Caulfield’s good points; others point out Caulfield’s bad points. Neither perspective is wrong.
