There was a spoof a few years ago, guessing what might have happened if George Lucas had made the LORD OF THE RINGS films. The best line in it imagined Lucas announcing: “We don’t need a script. We have computers!” Maybe that explains things?
Obviously it was a joke! And a reminder of that very fact- DON’T assume that technology alone will guarantee a better product. It’s the people who operate the technology who make the difference.

I agree that that’s the proper equation for Episodes 1-3. I’ll take the original versions of the original films anytime.
