Superman: My vision isn't what it used to be... Superman: This morning I misjudged distance and almost flew into the side of a building! I could have been killed! Frank: You could have died because you misjudged distance?! You're right, this is an emergency... Frank: It's a matter of life and depth!

I have no problems distinguishing depth in the real world or when watching 3d movies or video games on my TV, but I cannot for the life of me pass the depth perception test at the DMV.

Super Chicken said it best years ago. When asked by his sidekick Fred why he didn’t use his super-vision, he said “If I had any supervision, would I be wearing this suit?”

Am I the only one to notice the absurdity of Superman worrying that he could be killed by crashing into a building? He could wreck the building and possibly cause some fatalities, but he’d walk away without a scratch.
