Laura: Hey. What's up? Adam: Nuthin. I took the online "Jeopardy" contestant test thing. It had a hurtful name for the scoring level 1 ended up in. Laura: What, like "failure"? Adam: "Wheel of Fortune Contestant."
I was a contestant on Jeopardy in the late nineties. Was in first place going in to Final Jeopardy, but talked myself out out the last “question” because I thought it was too easy. Ended up in second place with a trip to Jamsica and other lovely parting gifts. An interesting experience, but one I won’t repeat as long as Trebek is still hosting.
As I Wheel of Fortune fan I found it cute and funny. And you have to admit, some of the contestants don’t seem to be too bright. I’m quite intelligent (if I do say so myself) and I’d love to go on Wheel.
It takes a lot of work to obtain the knowledge for Jeopardy and depending on the subjects, you still can fail. Wheel of Fortune is much easier and you can still win some pretty good bucks. They are both just games. Congratulations katzenbooks45 – it’s quite an accomplishment just to get on the show.
Trebek told the audience a totally inappropriate joke during one of the taping breaks. I’m no prude, but the “joke” was based on pedophilia, and there were school kids in the audience.

At least it didn’t say “Let’s Make a Deal Contestant".
