here in California, you can’t go north on highway 17, you can go east or west (east lands you in san jose, west, in santa cruz)
This reminds me of the movie the haunting with Julie Harris.She would drive for miles from Boston and come to a haunted house.
Oh and ask for a fellow named jack. Caretaker. A little odd but very people oriented. And they have this interesting cocktail you should try. Starts w red rum then ….
