Sometimes I think they do that to mark their territory. Either that, or just to show off and make us upset. Melissa, if you want to use anything I write, feel free to do it. It’s public domain. We have a cardinal couple hanging out in our backyard these days. I wonder if they ever have down time…they always look so busy. I guess it’s all about finding food this time of year…

Cardinal’s are all over my area. I don’t like them either. One time, I was raking leaves, and one pooped on my head.
