My TV never responds no matter how loudly I holler.

But there’s no basket! It’s just a hoop and a net….I have a friend named Annette, and she wears hoop ear rings….I’d rather watch her….

I have a UPS power back up for my satellite Internet link. My laptop fends for itself. I haven’t bought a UPS for the satellite TV yet. :-)

Get rid of cable and get Directv. Unless it’s storming HARD outside, you’ll never have it go out.

Basketball started with baskets Varnes, usually peach baskets instead of hoops and nets. The ball had to be retrieved by ladder after each score. Of course a lot of games ended up 10-6 or something like that. Basketball players are also still called cagers at times because at first they played inside a caged floor.

I got rid of Directv mainly because of their stupid commercials. Also because of the fact every time it rains hard it goes off, and if the lights flicker on and off once, it takes 10-15 minutes to get back on the air. Back to cable for me.

Who needs a conspiracy when the total incompetence of Comcast, TWC, or DirectTV will suffice?

eReaders are far greener than paper even your beloved hemp paper. A basic Kindle with electronic ink can go for months between recharges as long as you have a light source. If you DON’T have a light source, you can’t read your beloved hemp book anyway. We are indeed dependent on electrons, though. They keep the nuclei in our bodies from exploding with a tremendous blast. Just think about it, a pound of TNT exploding makes a huge mess and that just involves moving the outermost electrons around.I kept my slide rule around for a while in case my HP 21 scientific calculator died until I realized if electronics quit working, that was the least of my worries.

Imagine an interactive TV which responds with a taser to calm us down — or take us out if it gets hacked.

As an Eagles fan and having enjoyed calculus, I take all things to the limit. As such, the concept of “go green” naturally suggests the low carbon footprint eReader method of putting out books — even greener if the power source is nuclear or geothermal with zero carbon emissions.

All this discussion and no one asked the obvious question – why is Arlo’s shirt brown?
