OK, I gotta tell this story again……we had an American Golden Cocker Spaniel who always came of as being dumb as a bag of hammers….Then, one day, my baby niece was sitting on a blanket on the floor, enjoying an Arrowroot biscuit and the dog was trying to get close to steal it. My Dad kept warning her off as her mouth was drooling and trembling, wanting that cookie so bad.Eventually, she walked off, and my Dad figured she had given up. All of a sudden, she came running back, ran up to my niece on the blanket and dropped a dog biscuit. In a flash, my niece dropped the cookie to go for the biscuit and the dog made a clean getaway…..Not so dumb, after all!
