I simply must express how much I thoroughly enjoy Mike Curtis and Joe Staton’s "Dick Tracy! Thank you, gentlemen, and thanks to your entire team!

I don’t think that one steak sated Lena’s appetite.

If Lena gets in the chicken coop, someone could end up killed by a farmer’s shotgun.

Lena can’t have gone far. They just heard her whining moments ago. However, she doesn’t look too friendly in the first frame. I’d be worried if I lived around there.

Methinks it’s time to just let Lena go. Hard to see either of our baddies going, “Heeeere Lena, come on home baby. That’s a good Lena, now let’s get back in our case…”

A little sibling friction may lead to wider implications. As Sprocket showers and aims to rest, Silver is left with Lena’s escape as his concern alone. That could be a dangerous situation for him, not to mention to anyone, animal or human, Lena should confront on the farm….

Holey Hitchcock!Will Lena be drawn back to the car by the smell of those burgers?And surprise Sprocket while she showers?

Got to wonder if Mike had planned this shower sequence all along, or if it’s for those who see Sprocket as Hygenically Challenged?

Sprocket doesn’t have to outrun Lena. She only has to outrun Silver.Okay, old joke. Sorry.

This 53 looking Ford sure has a lot to offer, and she bathes with sunglasses on, doesn’t ware shoes in the winter. And I forgot to mention She (S.N.) is ugly. lol lol lol !

This comic strip just keeps getting better each day, but I’m looking forward to this brother & sister going to jail (or worse) !!

Thanks, Gweedo! I real every “Dick Tracy,” but sadly don’t often have time for comments. I wish I did! There are always so many fascinating ones here.

When Flattop, Jr. and Joe Period traveled in the Wonder Car bacon and eggs were often on the menu. Good to see the back seat grill put to use. Criminals can work up an appetite running from Tracy and Sam. Lena is on the loose, which could bode ill for anyone unlucky enough to come across her path. Team Tracy taps into great Gould traditions, both in resurrecting the Wonder Car, and in incorporating a captivating animal into the tale. Remember Mr. Bribery’s smoking cat?Well done with the limerick, Jonathan K. Thanks to Gweedo, Neil Wick, abdullahbaba999 and mzkdad for the kind words. Much appreciated.

Lena’s next meal is on the horizon. The question is, will this repast have four legs or two?

I really wonder how dangerous a single formerly-captive hyena would be if it got loose. Hyenas are by preference scavengers (and note that Lena’s last meal of “long pig” was dead and probably dismembered before arriving in her cage), and when they do act as predators they attack in large packs. A solitary animal would likely not have the inclination to go after something as large as a human as long as there are smaller animals and/or carrion around. (And that, of course, assumes she’s even still hungry after just having been fed a steak.)

“…who’s the one who did the sloppy handling and now sloughs the recovery solely onto her bro ?”-—————————————————————-Come on – SIlver wanted the hyena, he should care for the hyena. And risk being the next one on the menu. Besides, we know she hates Silver’s man-eating pet, yet she’s the one who had to crate Lena up for the train ride, plus feed her and care for her. She’s done enough for the little monster (although I’m betting she becomes the next meal).

So, what is the water supply for this “shower attachment”? That car doesn’t look like it has a water tank. What was the power supply for the original car’s refrigerator and stove, does anybody remember? I don’t have a copy of that story; by the time of the reprint I have, the car had already been burned.

Gorgeous strip – and a lot of fun to read! Love seeing Flattop’s car in sausage-flipping action. (Great “establishing shot” of Lena, headin’ for the coop!
