Ted lives in South Carolina.

The moose isn’t too happy about it either!

With all the snow they have resorted to holding up McDonalds for food.

That must be Ballard Bullwinkle.

A moose ran by me in northern Maine. While visiting my grandfather a female moose and her yearling ran by me on an abandoned logging road. Until they came at me, I had no idea how big they could be and as a teenager from the Chicago suburbs I hadn’t heard about rutting season.

Coyoty…. sshh…..

Grandma may not know about the child …er… calf support checks….

All this makes me want to make some chocolate moose for a dessert special….

Yeah, I know what you’re thinking….

but no…. chocolate moose.

OK… I admit….

I do so much …um… cooking and baking here on Ballard Street…. for the Tiki, or in my big kitchen at the salon, or in my bakery and pie shop….

Sometimes … just for inspiration, you know….I look at pictures on the internet.

It’s true.I do it.

I mean, I can’t come up with every idea all on my own.

So tonight, I was browsing for pictures … you know…. to inspire me to make that chocolate moose (cough)…

And I came upon these cupcakes, made by a bakery called, coincidentally enough, “The Chocolate Moose.”and I suppose the bakery thinks they look delicious, cos there’s no word about their appearance….

but I just… well….is it just me?

Pcolli… that’s the problem…. I’d rather not.

Six…. if you mean the cupcake… I hope not!

OK, waaaay past my bedtime, and I’m about down for the count.

Little monkeys, be careful, please…. remember, carry ONE drink at a time…. yes, I know you know…. you just have to DO it, OK?

Don’t peel any more bananas tonight…Big Monkey was only kidding…weren’t you, Monkey?

Oh there he is! Thomas Turkey has been looking for Sam since last friday. He’s here for the turkey convention……he’s the mascot, don’t cha know.

Hey, everybody!!

I just heard from Bev !!! Her eye surgery went very well, and she passed the post-op exam with flying colors! But, her eyesight is still too blurry right now to be able to see the comics. She expects to be back here in a day or two.

I’m glad Bev’s eye surgery went well.

My own eyes are not going to be operated on just yet- I’ll try some herbal things first, but it seems it is cataracts (they gave me nothing in writing, and I had immediate vision on my mind).

Although I notice HUGE difference to watch the TV 15’ away (and even to recognize groups of friends and acquaintances more that 6’ away in a crowd), I don’t like to keep the glasses on because with them I can’t read or sew (which I can without any).

Wow!Look at what I found…

Meanwhile, I’ll make like Twinkly’s kitten, because it’s time to go up for a bath before bed. I have the doors open and the fragrance of orange and other citrus blossoms wafts through the air so deliciously. . . Good night, ALL!
