Up here in the PacNorthwest, March is going to come roaring in tomorrow with freezing rain, or sleet or snow! (take your pick) Plus high winds. Now if only the wind would blow down a certain fir tree, we would have a killer view of the Columbia River!

Few snow flurries so March is coming in like a lamb but will go out like a lion. March is bad, lots of ice storms. April is our tornado watch month, many a time we sat in the basement.Good morning to all………………………..from the great state of Michigan!!!!!

    What’s your point, Allan?

Here’s part of my upcoming forecast:* The main storm is forecast to bring very heavy precipitation rates Sunday night and Monday. Snowfall rates can reach or surpass 2 inches per hour in some locations. Such intense snowfall can overwhelm shoveling and plowing operations, as well as strand motorists*

Well I was going to paste a Smiley shoveling snow, but I am having trouble signing in to photobucket, their webpage is down, and this website is all screwed up as well! SIGH!

    Good morning Crew!

Chip, I have a serious question for you. Why are your hardback books so expensive? And the only paperbacks I can find are used. I would rather have my own FRESH paperback book. I have “A Boatload of Louie” in paperback (love it!), bought new many years ago. I would LOVE, LOVE to have your other 2.

I recall one odd winter back about 15 years: I cycled to work on the first of December (in CT, USA) in a short-sleeved jersey and fingerless gloves. On April first, nature played a nasty April Fool’s Day prank, and I was cycling home from work in a snow storm with four inches of snow already on the roads!

April Fool’s Day is open for anything, TANDEMBUZZ. Winters can be odd though. I remember chocolate Easter bunnies melting before Easter in a heat wave. It snowed the next week.

ALLAN, those are killer temperatures. DRY, think “snow day” and don’t go out. I could use a snow day, as long as no one gets hurt. Up here, there was a 96 car pileup in a white out on a highway just north of us, on Thursday.

“52 degrees and sunny” would be a heat wave right about now. Bring it on …

    Good Evening, Crew.
