The peace didn’t want to march that day, that’s all.

Is disturbing the peace still on the books as a misdemeanor? I haven’t heard about it in decades.

How can they be in ‘East Virginia, when about a week ago, they were getting a briefing from the Chief of Police about an incident at ’I-55 and Archer’ and intersection only possible in Chicago, Illinois as I-55 runs from Chicago to St. Louis, Missouri around Springfield, Illinois ! !

It’s simple – The marchers were disturbing the peace of mind of the officials. Disturbing the status quo is always a crime..Used to happen quite frequently on the 60s & 70s. Been there, done that.
