Heart of the City by Steenz for February 27, 2014
Transcript:
Heart: What's the matter, spidey? No action? Dean: Alas, nothing's amiss... Dean: ..though I guess I shouldn't be surprised...it's not like we live in New York or metropolis or Gotham city... Heart: True. I guess you can't expect much wickedness in the "City of brotherly love." Dean: Doesn't exactly inspire one to villainocity.

I say let them have their illusions. The last thing we want Dean doing is trying to tackle actual crime…

city of brotherly love? LOL ….that’s where they threw snowballs at Santa Claus when he appeared at an Eagles game……that’s also the crowd at the Flyer’s match that booed Sarah Palin trying to drum up votes for her bid to be vice president in ’08…..gotta love those folks!

Well there are those incidents that happen when two drivers are fighting for the same parking space (which is usually on top of a median) along Market St.

Philly sadly, is one MEAN CITY. Be careful which side of it you end up in. Part of it is gorgeous, the bad part gives the whole city a bad “rep”. But I will say this, Philly fans, whatever the sport, are some of the NASTIEST fans on earth.

Dean, though it may sound thrilling and adventurous in the abstract, the last thing you would want is an encounter with genuine ‘villainocity.’ Just because you have not been exposed to it or even become aware of it doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist in your city as well. And you should know of it, though I hope you never have to learn the hard way.
