Christie probably has plausible deniability – at least if he has an ounce of sense. It may have been something like – “can you punish that mayor somehow?” “How?” “You decide, but don’t tell me.” If they’re actually able to tie it back to him, he’s not smart enough to be President.

Obama’s executive orders are in response to “my way or the highway.” He has tried to work with Republicans but they have a policy of non-cooperation.
