I wonder when the current “creative” team on Andy Capp will have a comedy DAY? At least Andy is being active and throwing things (which he should’ve done the other day with Guitar Bob!) Andy is (or should be) an essentially active character (when not napping or passed out). Yes, he can attack quite effectively verbally, but even then he should be portrayed as just this side of throwing things, but restraining himself with that legendary self-control that he has!
