The upper Midwest and most of the east coast, like New York, are just having near normal winter temperatures and snow. Out west, it’s extremely dry, and HOT,not just warm. And no, it’s not a single year anomaly, the drought and warmer winters have been going on for a decade now, and forests are dying, because we’re NOT getting cold enough to kill off overwintering insect eggs and larvae as would “normally” happen.
Such toons indicating some folks are just near normal for WINTER, only gives fodder to the dopey deniers.

I wish we could have some “global warming”… -2 F here in Dayton, Ohio… Nothing like sub-zero weather to make 32 degrees seem warm.
