God Herself couldn’t fix Christie’s problems. Well, I take that back – She wouldn’t fix them.

I wonder if the 2016 campaign for the GOP presidential nomination will be as hilarious as the one in 2012. It sounds like most of the same people will be back: Rick Perry, at least one Paul, probably Rick Santorum (please, oh, PLEASE!), Mittens, Ryan, Senator What’s-his-face from Florida, and Ted Cruz. It’ll be like a traveling Celebrity Roast except MUCH funnier.

Every single GOP house and senate member from Colorado was as stupid, mean, cheap, unpatriotic, and parochial as you, voting against Sandy aid. Then, when floods hit Colorado, every last one of them asked for Federal aid. Thank GOD the Republicans don’t control the Federal government, and that someone was able to slip the flood recovery money in secretly so that Boehner couldn’t block it and hold it hostage for hurting the poor or some other important Republican priority.

I went to school in Boston for a number of years. Boston ran out of money for snow-removal every year in December; after that, you either didn’t drive, or you tried to aim your tires for the tire tracks in the snow, hoping that the snow between your tires didn’t lift your tires off the road. Every year, the same thing; no one appeared to learn. Didn’t matter who was mayor or governor.

Not every government failure is payback for some action. Often, government fails because it just does.

Look at it this way: They have stopped blaming Bush for everything now…
