This points out a huge downside to our global computerization. Just this week I tried calling a large local clinic. When someone finally answered the phone and I asked for a department, she said they were having phone problems and to call back in an hour. When I called back (and for another hour and a half after that), the line was busy. It was obvious to me that they had moved to IP phones and there was a computer problem. Too much reliance on computers! Not even talking about the nasty hacking that’s going on, this is going to bite us, hard!
