Little itty bitty Rice is so happy to finally be in a safe environment purrs all the time. Still can’t believe she found us. What a joy she is. Wouldn’t trade her for the world.

I know dogs occasionally have the problem, but do cats snore?

Yes. My cat Grayby, at 12, weighs 22 pounds. She sleeps mostly on her back and does snore—easily hearable in a quiet bedroom at night. And to thinks she found me when she was an underweight twelve ounces and could stand all four paws in the palm of one hand.

Good late afternoon Fellow Baby, cleo, sugie and all ye’ gathered here!

neverenoughgold, my cat Mittens, well, I wouldn’t call it snoring per se, but she makes funny noises in her sleep! The others don’t.

Actually, it turns out that purrs are healing. They vibrate at a certain level that has been found to be healing for bones and muscles.
