These days it’s a lot easier to find them online, but I know my communications/broadcasting teacher in the early 90’s used to record only the commercials.
When the commercials come on, I wander into the kitchen or elsewhere. I always change the channel during the commercials for the little commercial TV I watch, of course, but you can’t do that during the Super Bowl party: I have enough enemies already!
It’ll be nice of FOX to interrupt their spot load for a little football. It was torture watching the Seahawks-49ers game two weeks ago because they were constantly cutting away for commercials. Had to be the easiest day Joe (Macaulay) Buck has ever had, though…call a play, cue to break.

Will have the game on – and be doing lots of other things while ‘watching’. Laundry. Cleaning. Reorganizing the kitchen. Catching the replays. … don’t have to sit on the couch to hear the game.
