The most insidious thing in this is that it will almost certainly allow ISPs to start selling their services much like cable companies do with television. That is you can get a “basic” package, “enhanced,” etc. with the websites that you can get to limited to those that have signed up with the provider and are on the package.If you go to something obscure they charge extra and eventually the internet becomes like television: 300 websites and nothing to look at…. That is unless you are a shallow, vapid, non-intellecutal couch potato.
