Come on Gorrell, how stupid do you think we are? You’re comparing the rich to panhandlers in the street? With Wall Street busy having record highs? You’ve got to be kidding me. If there’s one thing the rich know how to do, it’s take care of themselves. All they have to do is squeeze the poor just a little bit tighter, and the rich can take care of themselves. Meanwhile who looks out for the poor? The government. And if it makes you feel better to call me a socialist (I am not) go right ahead.
There’s not such thins as “Used to be rich.” There’s only “Used to be Middle Class” or “Used to be poor, but not this poor.”The rich are protected from losing their monies. Although I guess you could have “Used to be rich, but also I’m stupid and burned all my bridges.”
The conservatives definition of “used to be rich”? Buying a Bentley instead of a Rolls Royce. Or if your Boehner, going from spending $78K a year on golfing to only $68K on golf.
