Yes, marriage counseling exists solely so the woman can have someone on her side (this holds true with male counselors, as well).

Maybe they’re just watching a sappy movie or something?

Okay, what am I missing?

Is that both the marriage therapist and the wife crying?

Rather pointless to have therapy if counselor cannot see both sides. When I divorced my X, I KNEW why. I’d never remarry (he thought I was a possession) but I like having a man of my own in separate houses. That’s the best way.

My wife and I have a cat. Now we both have someone wecan talk to. And the cat never takes sides.

What the husband did (or didn’t do) was so egregious that even the marriage counselor is crying.
