We had once a girl who came on a French forum asking us to write three paragraphs about a subject, with so many words, using this and that tense etc and telling her in English what we had written about. She became quite rude when the others pointed out that it was her homework and she should to it herself. So I wrote her three paragraphs and a short synopsis. She came back on the forum three days later absolutely furious and flamed me for having included in the paragraphs, in beautiful classical French, what she had done. Of course she hadn’t read it before handing it over. For some reason she never came back.

I see nothing wrong when asking for more information on a subject. For me I’m older and forgotten a lot of rules for writing. When writing on a subject I am somewhat familiar with. I will seek help on grammar and subject for sentence structure. To help clean up the writing. From Jr. College I have used tutor help and each tutor would never agree or correct use of grammar for sentence. When I read a pleasure reading book I have seen mistakes on author’s writing. Guess I’m learning. I will never be perfect on English usage.

Many papers are turned in printed out since concern for penmanship is declining.
