Pretty good strip today, only, had Smythe written it, he would have had Andy answering “Shaddup!” in the last panel6.5

When we went on a cruise to the Carribean we were told the beaches were polluted because of the runoff from the rum distilleries. The water was chartreuse color.

This was in the paper a few days ago. My Mum read it out to me. She likes to read Andy Capp in the paper too. So does my Dad.

Sorry, Andy… You’re not the young man you used to be. It’s time you start to accept that.

    xxx

Gweedo (Bring back Dry) Murray said, about 23 hours agoIf my feet don’t touch bottom, I’ll have to !-I can swim somewhat. Used to go to the Amherst (NY) rec. center as a kid and use their pool. You had a picture ID and 10 cents to get in. There’s a Pepsi branded hockey rink there now and space that is part of a walking/biking trail. The ped/bike trail in that area pales in comparison to what is here. They don’t have the kind of free space available to build a really comprehensive highway system for getting around town. Also, lack of funds or unwillingness to buy rights of way.-I’ll be’choo have lots of those bits memorized. If your memory is good enough you could be a ‘starlet’ for real money. I see two necessary hallmarks for going into acting: a dynamite good memory for lines and the facility for making a fool of yourself while others watch. I think I got that second part down… -Got some cloudy day pics of the sailor. Will get some bright sunny ones soon. -A Happy mash-tunny Thursday 2 to you, too.________________________________________________Sounds like you had fun there. Do rinks have their own Pepsi Machines in the US? If so that’s pretty cool. -I used to be a Pepsi addict (especially at night time) but now it’s been days since I’ve had one. Being addicted to Pepsi is loads better than being addicted to some of those OTHER things, right?-I could never go into acting. It requires a lot confidence and talent which I don’t possess. My memory is only good because I’ve watched Blackadder Goes Forth over a hundred times and I can remember almost every line and remember the scene where those lines take place. Other people can watch it just 2 or 3 times and remember every line there is.-So I would fit into the “making a fool of myself” part also.-Don’t say that I bring myself down because I’m not doing that at all. It’s my opinion.-Happy Friday to you! Have a good one.-If you’re wondering where Kitty is… She’s very poorly but she passes on her best wishes for the New Year.
