Joe: Don't you have enough photos of my kids, pop? Frank: Never! Childhood is fleeting! Blink and you'll miss it! So what if I happen to have ten thousand photos of my grandkids! Its still not enough! Funny how my childhood is documented with eleven blurry images. Back then, eleven was excessive.

You can take a lot more pictures when you don’t have to pay for the film and to get them developed. Just download to a hard drive or upload to the cloud.

Until our first Instamatic camera in1970 all of our immediate family photos, as well as those on Mom’s side, were black and white. Color photos were one of the special things about visting Dad’s Aunt Lillian.

Childhood is fleeting? So is young adulthood. One day you are young, enjoying life. Then all of a sudden there is this old person with a young person inside yelling “what the h*** happened? Where did the time go?” I know, it’s better than the alternative. (sigh)
