Even Jesus chased the money changers from the temple. Force can be used when it is necessary.

I like the way he thinks, also! Some good logic. And more holidays would be nice.

I propose an Anti-Holiday where we contemplate (but not honor) the really bad people. Workers would be forced to work 16 hours instead of 8, TVs would go dark and speeches would be banned.

I’ve often thought we should have a “never again day”. This would be a reminder of not just the Holocaust, but the millions of victims of Stalin, Mao, the Armenians in the early 20th century, the genocide in Rwanda, the victims of Pol Pot (and unfortunately others).

I think there are more accomplished good people than accomplished bad people, because bad people are more likely to have others out to thwart them.

I think there should be a Native American History Month. They have been wronged far too long.

Be thankful for the bad, as well as the good. Without the bad, there would be little good.

gir63: I don’t recall Timujin using elephants, but Bactarian camels and lots of ponies could be a problem. Plus people are much bigger nowadays, so slightly inaccurate horses would have to substitute. He was the last leader to successfully invade China, but his grandson, Kublai, was one of the more noted Chinese leaders.

Unless you have real Native American blood in your not a Native American. If you were born in France or Japan you wouldn’t be French or Japanese unless it’s in your DNA.

Yeah, I just realized I some how mixed up my history there. I don’t know what I was thinking about when that popped in my head. Looking to hard for a joke I guess.

I think tyrants get most of their help from people who are too scared to fight them. I wouldn’t call such people evil but weak. Most of us want to think we’re both good and brave enough to fight tyranny and evil, but that’s a tall order when torture and death are likely consequences.

@igotcats There is. November. I am in the Army and all month there are posters designed to honor Native American History.
