I had an algebra teacher in high school that always started her quizes by saying, “Take out a half-sheet of paper….”. I had ’mares about that for years.

One of the most frightening things I ever heard the teacher say was “For Monday…” bang went the weekend.

I had a teacher in college who wanted the class to know electrical fundamentals, so he said he was going to give us a quiz every day until the class average was over 90%..Took us 6 days. We paid attention after that.

She won’t sleep all weekend and then will fall asleep in each class.

Gave at least 3 quizzes a week to each class. Kept them on their toes.
