Move New Years to April. The working people I know could use a holiday between president’s day and Memorial Day.

After the new year is over work just two days then off for weekend. Most unemployed workers would like to have a job to go to.

Do you think one of their cars won’t start? They want to go home. It’s not going to be easy.

My son-in-law’s car wouldn’t start this morning. (When I checked the temp (via computer), it was 7 degrees, “feels like” -19. He borrowed my Town & Country van.

Re: Dead of winter being a lousy time to start the New Year: Well, several days before our New Year’s, the days begin to get longer. Yay! That means the sun won’t leave us forever, because we did the right things to appease it!
