    Our local police were once searching for an escaped double-murderer. A lieutenant stopped a suspect who easily surrendered, admitting he had shot those two people. But the man they were looking for had stabbed his victims. A totally different murderer! Small world, eh? And sometimes frightening.

    I’m involved in a case where the guy was arrested and immediately confessed. On the way in, he turned to the detective and said, “I guess I should tell you about all the others.” You know it’s not going to be a good day at work when that happens.
