I can relate – went to the Dollar Store to buy a “deprived” kid some basic tools and games and even a scientific calculator! He threw a fit because he didn’t get a top-of-the-line X-Box. NO worries! That’s it for him – and for me!
My son was happy to get my old smart phone- even figured out how to text for free on it. If he;s not happy with his gift I would take it back and he gets nothing.
