So he screwed up,,,,again,,, what’s the big deal? The pseudo-conservative definition of “screw-up” is being a Democrat. There is absolutely nothing Obama could ever do that pseudo-conservative pundits and their followers won’t find a way to complain about.I didn’t vote for Obama in either election. I’m not a big supporter of the ACA because it doesn’t go far enough. That said, at least the Democrats made an attempt at improving the health insurance system. Any improvement, no matter how small, is better than the status quo.I have yet to hear from Republican pundits, politicians, or their followers on these fora any ideas on how to improve the system. In 2000, the World Health Organization ranked the US health care system 38th in the world even though our health care expenditure per capita is highest. Cut the partisan bull sh** and give us some real solutions.
Conservatives: don’t talk about hanging Black people who have committed no crime, or plant the confederate flag on the White House lawn. If you think it will attract people to your cause, you are not a very good reader of the American psyche. Most Americans are not bigots.
FEHB (Federal Employee Health Benefits), Medicare, and most union “group plans” all represent variations of “single payer” programs, and none have terminated “private insurance companies”, in fact, they’ve kept them alive! That they’ve reduced costs, reduced “overhead”, and thus controlled, but not eliminated, PROFIT, is neither bad, nor “socialist”.
Yes, the biggest single flaw of the PPACA is the lack of a “single payer” consolidation, implemented through the states where more regional costs/needs CAN be addressed.
"They brought forth one just a couple weeks ago that obama vowed to veto. Read both sides of things not just the DNC approach.Enlighten me. Post a link to a news article on their attempt to improve health insurance and/or health care.
