Come on! Even Missions that help and feed people have to discard food if it is unsafe to eat. Geez! Can’t serve moldy food! Dogs don’t care! My dog would, she is very picky, and don’t like leftovers much. LOL!! Bisket does love prime rib bones, not the bone part, the meat part. Fried chicken, no bones, and yes she does LOVE pizza. Can’t just give her the crust, has to have the cheese and sauce on the piece. Loves to hang out the car window at 65 miles an hour, wind in her face, if it is raining, she looks out the front windshield from the back seat. Got to love dogs, they have a real personality of their own.

This could relate to Guy’s other strip: Today’s Dogg

I was going to say; mission or household garbage notwithstanding — leftover pizza? I doubt it… unless it’s really, REALLY bad pizza.

Should food that others left on their plates be re-served? A guy I knew told me that once when he was out of $$$ he went to a mission for dinner. The food was bad and when he wasn’t about to finish the meal, a bum sitting nearby asked “Can I have what you’re not eating?”

Maybe Phil threw it out there on purpose just so Poochie and Sam could also have something to eat.

The one of my cats that eats table food knows to show up when we have chicken. Otherwise he’s nowhere to be found.

I knew someone who volunteered to served Christmas dinner to the homeless. The trouble that some of them had was that they had no teeth. Some had trouble with spicy food. After spending a morning volunteering at a food bank, I now donate cash instead of food. Much of the donated food is not healthy, and the food banks are more particular than I imagined.
