I tell my kids and my nieces and nephews all the time that, after college, they will blink and be 40. (And it goes so much faster after 40.) Of course I didn’t believe when anyone would tell me the same, esp when a 4 hour shift at the piggly wiggly would seem interminable. Now it seems every day is trash to the road day, but that’s every week. Can’t believe its so close to the year end just when I’ve gotten used to writing 2013. I spent all those early years wanting to be older and for time to go faster, now I just wish I could slow it down ANY.
Time at work it like 40 hours for an 8 hour shift, a weekend at home, is like 4 hours for a 24 hour period…all about perceptions and if your mind enjoys what it is doing or not…although I don’t enjoy house work, yard work but yet weekends still fly by so fast.
