    As Michael Ford said, “It’d be interesting to see how this free-thinker develops.” Yes, it will if the public school system doesn’t crush his spirit before he can escape. The public schools don’t serve students like Caulfield. At all.

    I guess that would depend on the percentage for a passing grade. Considering inspiration is negligible (because most of us didn’t really care) and perspiration is equivalent to effort then inspiration would be the remaining quantity. In my day the passing grade was 70% correct without curve considerations.

    Business school adage: Those who get an MBA with a 4.0 end up in academia as teachers. The ones with a B average become Fortune 500 vice-presidents, working for CEOs who graduated biz school with a C average.
