They were a lot smarter than we are in that they created a constitutional republic rather than democratic rule. We have a rule of law instead of a rule by a mob that can be turned to nefarious purposes by nefarious entities. By the way Luk you could have had Obama doing the scoot over the constitution. It’s too bad Mike didn’t pass his Civics class, Nowhere in the Constitution is democracy. Founders were afraid we might be that and have mob rule. Course they did know the masses would be so easily fooled by the elected class. Maybe it’s time for a new revolution.
