Both drinks are made in a blender….so he always mixes them up……

What Bev and Varnes said….it’s like…. he can mix you up a daiquiri….

but when he mixes you up with another customer, he gets your order wrong.

Or he can mix you up a Margarita…but he’d better not mix up the recipes.

Reminds me of the joke (told by a woman): a man’s brain is like concrete – thoroughly mixed, and permanently set.

A doctor walks into a bar after a long day of surgery, and order’s a daiquiri. Bartender asks “What kind?” The doctor replies, “Surprise me” So the bartender mixes up a drink and hands it to the doctor. The doctor is so beat that he takes a long drink without even looking at it. He immediately spits it out along with several small chunks of wood. “What on earth is this?” asks the doctor. Bartender replies “It’s a hickory daiquiri Doc.”

Pseudo Cliff Clavin: " It’s an interesting history of margaritas. Created originally by two women named Margaret and Rita to put salt in the wounds of their boyfriends, Dack and Quarry, who don’t come into the history until much later…….."

Thanks to all of you for the explanation. I didn’t get it either, even with the giant MIXER in the picture. I obviously need to spend more time in bars. ???
